Refunds

Refund policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

The short version

Every workspace starts with a 14-day free trial (no card required), so most people never need a refund at all. If you do go on to pay and change your mind, you have 48 hours from any charge to ask for a full refund, no questions asked.

When we issue a refund, the paid plan it covered ends at that moment. Your account and everything in your workspace stay, read-only, and you can subscribe again whenever you like.

What's covered

Any charge, your first payment or a later renewal, is refundable in full if you ask within 48 hours of that specific charge. This applies the same way to quarterly and annual plans, and to either currency.

What's not covered

A charge you didn't ask about within its own 48-hour window isn't refunded retroactively, for example, asking in month three about a charge from month one. You can still stop future renewals at any time (see "Cancelling" below); it just won't refund time already used.

Cancelling

A workspace Owner can cancel at any time from Settings, then Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full use until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can change your mind before then. Cancelling on its own doesn't refund anything, so if you also want your latest charge back, ask within its 48-hour window as below. You don't need to cancel as well: a refund ends the plan by itself. The full terms are in our terms of service.

How to request a refund

Email support@minista.app or use the support page, and mention roughly when the charge happened. We don't ask why: the 48-hour window is unconditional.

Please write from the email address the workspace Owner signs in with, so we know the request is really from the person who pays. A refund ends the plan for everyone in the workspace, so we can't act on a request from anyone else. What counts is when you ask: a request made inside the 48 hours is honoured even if we issue the refund a little later.

What happens to your workspace

The paid plan ends when we issue the refund, not when you first ask and not when the money reaches your account. Until we issue it, everything keeps working as normal.

From that moment:

  • The workspace becomes read-only, the same as when a free trial ends. You and your team can still sign in and see everything, but can't add or change anything.
  • Any free trial days you hadn't used when you paid don't come back.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your account, invitations, engagements and settings all stay. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account & security in your settings.
  • You can subscribe again at any time from Settings, then Billing, and everything picks up where it was.

This is the same whether the refund is for your first payment or for a renewal.

How refunds are processed

We issue the refund through Paystack, back to the card or account you paid with, and email you to confirm once it's done. It then usually takes 3 to 12 working days to reach you, depending on your bank or card issuer. That part is outside our control, but your refund is already on its way from the moment we confirm it.

Custom / enterprise plans

Custom tier pricing is negotiated directly, not self-serve; refund and cancellation terms for those plans are whatever was agreed at the time, not this policy. Reach out through the pricing page if that's not clear from your own agreement.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page. A change here never applies retroactively to a charge that already happened under the previous terms.
