Terms of service

Last updated 28 September 2026

The short version

Minista is run by Halom Technologies, a business name registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission, BN 9791159. You can try it free for 14 days. After that, a paid plan renews automatically every quarter or year until you cancel, and you can cancel yourself at any time. Any charge is refundable in full if you ask within 48 hours. Your data is yours: you can download it or delete it whenever you like.

These terms are an agreement between you and Halom Technologies. By creating an account or using Minista, you accept them. If you use Minista on behalf of a ministry or church, you accept them for it too.

Your account

Give us a real name and an email address you can receive mail at. We use it to confirm who you are, reset your password and send you codes. Keep your password to yourself. One login is for one person; to give someone else access, invite them to your workspace from the People page. You're responsible for what happens under your login, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Your workspace and your data

What you put into Minista, such as invitations, engagements, itineraries and notes, belongs to you and your workspace. We use it only to run Minista for you, as our privacy policy describes, and we never sell it.

A workspace's Owner decides who can join it and what they can do, and can hand ownership to another member. Only add people's details that you have a right to use: a host's contact details for arranging a visit, for example.

You can download your own data, or delete your account, at any time from Account & security in your settings, even if your workspace is unpaid.

Using Minista fairly

Please don't:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to harass or deceive anyone;
  • send unwanted messages through its invitation, booking or sharing links;
  • try to get into another workspace's data, or to break, overload or work around its security;
  • resell it, or copy it to build a competing product.

If you find a security problem, please tell us privately. Our security page says how.

Free trial

Every new workspace gets a 14-day free trial of everything, with no card needed. When the trial ends, the workspace becomes read-only until an Owner chooses a plan. You can still sign in, see everything, download your data and delete your account, but you can't add or change anything. Nothing is deleted because a trial ended.

Plans and prices

There are two plans, Personal and Ministry Office, each billed quarterly or annually, in naira or US dollars. Annual billing costs 20% less than four quarters. Current prices are on the pricing page, and the price you'll pay is shown before you pay it. Naira prices are shown before VAT: Nigerian VAT, currently 7.5%, is added at checkout and at each renewal, and is included in the total you see. Dollar prices, for customers outside Nigeria, carry no VAT. A refund returns the full amount you paid, VAT included.

Each plan has a limit on people. Personal allows 3 people: you and up to 2 others. Ministry Office allows up to 10 ministers, with any number of assistants and schedulers. To go past a limit, change plan.

Payments are handled by Paystack. Your card or bank details go to Paystack directly and never reach Minista.

Automatic renewal

A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each quarter or year. We charge the payment method you used, at the price on the pricing page on the day it renews. If we can't charge it automatically, which often happens after a bank transfer or USSD payment, we email you a link to pay instead.

If we change a price, we'll email the workspace Owner at least 30 days before it applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first if you want to.

If a renewal payment fails, we email you and keep everything working for 3 more days. If it's still unpaid after that, the workspace becomes read-only, as above, until it's paid.

Cancelling

An Owner can cancel at any time from Settings, then Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full use of what you've already paid for until the end of the current quarter or year, and you can change your mind before then. After that, the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted because you cancelled; delete your account if you want your data gone.

Refunds

Any charge, first or renewal, is refunded in full if you ask within 48 hours of it, no questions asked. When we issue a refund, the paid plan it covered ends at that moment and the workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and you can subscribe again at any time. Refunds usually reach you in 3 to 12 working days, depending on your bank. The details are in our refund policy.

Free or discounted access, and custom plans

Sometimes we give a workspace free or discounted access, for example during a pilot. We'll tell the Owner before that ends, and the workspace then moves to the normal plan and price. A custom plan agreed with us directly follows what we agreed in writing. Where that differs from these terms, the written agreement wins.

What Minista does and doesn't promise

Minista helps you keep track of invitations and warns you about clashes, but it relies on the details you give it. A warning, or the absence of one, is not a guarantee: check dates, times and travel before you commit, and use your own judgement.

We work to keep Minista available, secure and backed up, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or never have a mistake in it.

Responsibility

As far as the law allows, Halom Technologies isn't responsible for indirect losses, such as a missed engagement, travel costs or lost income, that come from using Minista or from not being able to use it. If we are responsible for a loss, the most we'll pay is what your workspace paid us in the 12 months before it happened. Nothing here limits anything the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending things

You can stop using Minista and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you time to download your data.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For a change that matters, we'll also email workspace Owners before it takes effect. A change never applies to a charge that has already happened.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
